Tulsa Police: Man Arrested For Grabbing Bartender, Pointing Gun At Brookside Bar – News On 6

Tulsa Police said a man has been arrested after drinking too much at a bar on Brookside and inappropriately touching a bartender. Police said the man eventually threatened people with a gun and drove away from the scene.
Police said officers were called to Sharky’s Bar around midnight after 55-year-old Gregory Brinkman pointed a gun at people. Investigators said Brinkman was thrown out by two other people inside the bar because he was inappropriately touching a bartender.
Witnesses told police Brinkman said he was going to shoot the bar up, but he took off from the scene. Tulsa Police said they used their helicopter to track Brinkman’s truck to the area of Highway 75 and 61st Street.
“The driver originally did not want to comply with officers, but before we started using force on him he ended up complying and we were able to take him into custody,” said Captain Jerrod Hart, Tulsa Police.
An arrest reported stated Brinkman is in jail for sexual battery and a second DUI offense. He also faces two counts of pointing a deadly weapon, two counts of threatening a violent act and one count of carrying a firearm while intoxicated.
